In step 1 it is being melted and crude monomer is being made and similarly in step 2 distillation and filtration process is being done but basically at a low temperature. This is how Regenerated Methyl Methacrylate Monomer is being made.It is essential building block for acrylic products.As it is thermoplastic and can be remoulded gain and again it can be applied in various industries.

Application

• It is being used for architectural and automative glazing advertising signs, interior and exterior lighting, decorative panels.
• It is being used in paints, sheets ,oil additives , acrylic fibres.

It is an ester of Methacrylic acid. It is clear , colorless, volatile liquid with a characteristic odor , slightly soluble in water and miscible with most organic solvents.
